I grew up in a family of steel fabricators... A family business built on hard work and incredible result. I passed through these warehouses as a small child, in awe of the machines the size of buildings, a high schooler coming in on the weekends, spray painting large sheet of metal for art projects, and then as a college student, looking back on these years- looking and seeing closer. I photographed the halls of these warehouses, focusing on the small moments and intricacies that these huge metal fabrications hold. I found it amazing how much beauty was within the walls of something so industrial and, for the people who worked there, and for me growing up, something everyday.
